Emma Johnson Tarp

is a writer born at West Point, baptized in Virginia, and currently living in Minneapolis with her husband and two cats.

She writes fiction about the places, the people, and the pursuits that obsess us. You can read it in Every Day Fiction, Rejection Letters, Elsewhere: A Journal of Place, and Right Hand Pointing.

She’s working on a frontier novel of sorts about skiing, identity, and land that doesn’t love you back. She also creative directs at Sprezza, a brand language studio.
